Summer Workshop - Release and Sing: Expand

Spacious and Supple Body, Spacious and Supple Voice!

Myofascial release (self-massage) combined with mindful movements and stretches releases habitual tensions in the body and calms your nervous system to free your voice and expressive artistry.

This 90-minute workshop will explore:

  • What is fascia and how treating it can bring ease and freedom to your singing.

  • Release techniques using soft therapy tools and breath to attune, release, and expand your body from the inside out.

  • Gentle movements and stretches to increase awareness, space, and mobility.

  • Complimentary vocal exercises that connect your body, mind, and voice.

  • How to customize these routines for your unique body and vocal practice. Develop your own Embodied Singer self-care routine!

Props:

  • Two grippy, pliable therapy balls in a tote or sock (Yoga Tuneup or Pinky balls recommended)

  • A small, inflatable ball (Coregeous recommended) or large towel.

All bodies and voices are welcome and celebrated! No experience necessary and all movements can be adapted for your comfort.

This workshop will be held on Zoom. The Zoom Link and a recording will be emailed to all registered participants.
